Visualize flood and Tsunami simulation resulst to assess vulnerability of infrastructure and buildings
We provide virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) to display inundation simulation result caused by flood and tsunami. VR is a technology that creates an artificial environment on a computer and allows users to experience the sensation of being there beyond time and space. AR is a technology that augments the real world by displaying additional information in real space. Based on inundation simulation result, flood in the target building or infrastructure such as airport, port, data center, factory and shopping center can be replicated in virtual reality.

Inundation simulation model creation work for airports
We implemented examination works of drainage facilities for airports all around Japan, and the results of inundation simulations are visualized in VR in which, (1) improvement of problem understanding and measures formulation, (2) facilitation of coordination and discussions with airport-related organizations, (3) use in crisis management, are aimed.
